Only the two original movies exist and the cartoon from the 80s is all that matters, they nuked the franchise when they let a bunch of feminists ruin it.
Seeing it at the cinema as a kid, I did enjoy it quite a lot. I can imagine kids still can enjoy it. There's definityl enough to like - the ideas are there, they're just executed in - possibly the worst way possible 😅 Killing of Maul was an early Ryan Johnson insert of course.

The whole Maul situation I'm not sure how that was planned out. Did they have Dooku in mind already to replace him? However, I think it worked out better when they brought Maul back in the Clone Wars animation plus it gave more character depth to himself and Obi-Wan.

There was no "they", it was just George writting, and when they were two weeks away from starting filming, he still didn't have the script ready - that explains a thing or two In the movie Maul is just a visual, there's literally nothing to him other than cool look. The guy was cut in half and thrown into a bottomless pit - he dead. Bringing him back, is no different than bringing back Palpie 🤷
