It ain't no Shogun, but it ain't no TLOU either. It's surprisingly good coming from the studios that gave us the rings of powa To get it out of the way - yes, wokeness is definitly here, but it doesn't collide with the story. The messeging is mostly present in casting, or in the background. Idk how accurate to the lore the show is - I didn't finish F3 as it was constantly crashing, I finished NV and liked it, but dont care that much about the lore. As a show standing on its own legs - I liked it. It's pretty well written, the show gracefully juggles between satire, dramatic moments and action, every episode made me want to watch another one. I was never bored, on the contrary, the show kept me intrigued and entertained. I liked the world building, and overall vision - consistent one. Some people find it lacking, but like I said before I'm not super familiar with the world of Fallout and the show didn't make me feel lost at any time. Worth checking out 👍

For authenticity did they add a random crash into the show I haven't watched it yet but from the shots I've seen it looks more like NV and 4, I liked the 3rd game and its atmosphere it was darker and you got that feeling you were in more of the apocalypse.

It's definitly post-apo, but it's not dark, it's more ... I want to say almost cartoonish at places, but it works, for me at least. The contrast between vault life and surface is most definietly there. Characters are good too, I think you will like Lucy(Vault dweller), if you would take Rey but write her as a real character, and an actual woman 😅 And of course Ghoul is great, just being mean for the kicks of it

I've just gone and watched the first two episodes, and what I'm getting from this is the people who have made this have only played Fallout 4, I mean it's okay I just wish it was a little darker. A shame that HBO never picked it up as Fallout has a lot of potential.

Spoiler alert - it's not gonna get darker as you go along Maybe they couldn't get 3 to run on their PCs, I mean it is a real possibility
I began re-watching Lost out of nostalgia, especially since this year marks its 20th anniversary since release. It was intriguing to see how my perspective on it has evolved, considering I was 20 when it first aired. I hoped to find that it had aged gracefully, but the thing is, it shows absolutely no signs of age. Man, it feels as if it was filmed this year 😮 Video

Yeah that was my same impression. Part of the reason for it is it uses very little cgi, mostly everything is practical props and sets, and the technology in the real world didn't change( I want to say at all), so nothing looks really dated.

And there's also the absence of trends, clichés and stereotypes. None of the characters seem stuck in the early 2000s
Lost was brilliant it was one of those shows that got you thinking about what will happen next and it took all these twists and turns and could certainly deliver the best cliffhangers, Desmond and Locke were my favorite characters. Video
